Chatbot Script
A chatbot script (chatbot scenario) is a pre-designed action plan defining the sequence of interactions between a chatbot and a user. It defines the structure and content of messages that a chatbot will send and receive in the course of communication in various situations.
A chatbot scenario consists of various elements such as greeting, asking questions, answering user queries, offering answer options, providing information, performing actions and ending the conversation. Each element of the script has its own role in ensuring smooth and effective communication between the chatbot and the user.
The goal of a chatbot script is to provide the user with a convenient and intuitive interaction that will help them get the information they need or complete a specific task. A well-designed script provides a sequence of actions leading to the user’s goal, minimises confusion and improves the overall interaction experience.
There are a number of programmes available for creating a chatbot script, such as Dialogflow from Google, Botpress, Chatfuel, ManyChat. These platforms offer ready-made tools for script development and customisation, integration with different communication channels and analytics.
