The term “official Viber” refers to Official Viber Messaging (‘white’ method of sending messages via the popular Viber mobile app).

For official Viber sending through the official channel, you need to register an alpha name (the name of the message sender), agreed upon by a Viber representative. This service is free of cost. There is also no subscription fee. However, there is a minimum sum for sending out Viber messages — $200/month. That’s 9,000 messages.

Using the official Viber allows to enjoy all the features and functions defined by Viber. And also guarantees the delivery of messages to the subscriber (of course, if the subscriber is in touch), unlike the unofficial Viber channel.
